My prayers are with you and your family. My husband, Jon R. Van Dyke, has been missing since May 19, 2005 ....... I know the pain and frustration you are going through. I pray that both our loved ones are found soon. And I pray that your father and my husband, where ever they may be, can feel the love of their families and friends.

I took the time today to read all of the correspondence you have received on the site. It is heartbreaking to have your dad missing and I cannot imagine being in your shoes. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. That goes for all the Warner's , Cannons, etc. Love will see you through. God bless you. Love, Claire

Dear Z,I can not even imagine what your family has gone though the last 7 mo.s, but I remember your Dad and many friday nights @ Dunmore's. He'd buy us pizza and a pitcher, always listen & give good advice. Last night I listened to one of my favorite CD's and I thought of your father and you...I wept & wept just as the same day I heard the terrible news.
I would like to share this song with you. It's called DANTE's PRAYER:
When the dark wood fell before me And all the paths were overgrown
when the priests of pride say there is no other way
I tilled the sorrows of stone
I did not believe because I could not see Though you came to me in the night
When the dawn seemed forever lost You showed me your love in the light of the stars
Then the mountain rose before me By the deep well of desire
From the Fountain of Forgiveness Beyond the Ice and Fire
Cast Your Eyes on the Ocean Cast Your Soul to the Sea When the Dark Night Seems Endless Please Remember Me
Though We Share This Humble Path Alone How Fragile is the Heart Oh give these feet Wings to Fly To touch the face of the stars
Breathe Life Into This Feeble Heart Lift this Mortal Veil of Fear Take These Crumbled Hopes, Etched With Tears We’ll Rise Above These Earthly Cares
Cast Your Eyes on the Ocean Cast Your Soul to the Sea When the Dark Night Seems Endless Please Remember Me Please Remember Me
Elizabeth:
Wow, Kathy, thank you for signing. I used to go into Dunmore's and people would say to me, "your Skip's daughter aren't you", they just knew. Even when he first moved to Fla. and I went to the same places he worked at or frequanted, they would ask me the same. Thank You for remembering the good man he is. I also know that he liked you. Love Always

To The Family of Skip Zelaya,
My sister has been missing since Nov. 2004. I can share your pain with your loss. I am so sorry for what you are going through and want you to know you are not alone. The days are always filled with wondering what you can do that you have not done already. I stand in prayer for you to find him and have some kind of closure to this terrible nightmare. God Be With You and Skip.
God Bless You and Bring You Peace,
Deborah's Sister Forever,
ReBecca Elizabeth

Kathleen:
Wow! Hi Julio! Yes, you know what a great father he is! Your words mean a lot to us and I want to thank you for writing and caring. Please pray he will come home to us.
|
Elizabeth:
Thank you for your words, I cannot find anyone who has a bad thing to say about him, so I not only know what a great Father he has always been, but a very good, honest man with everyone with whom he has ever crossed paths with.

Kathleen,
You and your family are in our prayes. We pray that the peace of the Lord rests with you day and night through this trying time. Joshua 1:5 says.. "The Lord will never leave you nor forsake you." Though He may not seem to be near He is just a pray away from you. Keep believing and asking and you will receive. When the night seems to be unending I pray that you will call on Jesus to bring peace and He will catch every tear that falls. He hears you cries and knows your pain. Keep trusting Him and you will see your dad again.
God bless,
Calvin
Kathleen:
Calvin,
I thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I know you are right and He hears all the prayers that are going out for our dad - I just wish He'd hurry up :) We need a happy ending. Thanks for being a friend (and neighbor!). God bless, you too!
